SAFE-TO-USE NVIDIA drivers

So over the past two month of experiencing working with RT i ran into many CUDA errors (100,700 etc) and crashes, some of them ending in BSODs such as the “VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR”
I am not sure if this is caused by the driver itself, Windows 10 or the VrayRT GPU code - i cant be the judge…

BUT

it woudl be extremely useful if there was a frequently updated thread with NVIDIA drivers which people find most prone to crashes.

This woudl safe so much time debugging.

Is this possible?

Also another question is a dedicated custom GPU driver.
Do you remember the times in early 3D card drivers when you could get a third party graphics driver? Why is something like this not possible these days?

So just these two thoughts

BTW:
currently i have 368.39 driver version and its giving me the VIDEO_SCHEDULER BSOD every now and then

We try to list the known well drivers in the FAQ here.

We have some reports that some of the last NVIDIA drivers can cause problems and once we able to verify that it is the driver causing the problems we will update the list there. But we want to be sure first.

I would love to see a GPGPU-optimized driver, but I am not sure if this is possible or if it makes sense … It will be best to ask the GPU vendors about that.

no problém for me to ask them but i am quite sure they would point me into buying QUADRO :-)))

Or a Fire Pro, I assume :).

:-DDDD lol yeah something like that
