I’m looking for a smooth sandstone texture like the one below. I’ve looked through the regular textures sites and haven’t found anything close.

Hi, the texture of the material is quite similar to that of a Travertino Classico Marble, please google that and you will be able to find something fitting. Some photoshop editing might be required.

Yeah you need to use all the different names it goes by : Sandstone, Limestone, Travertin, etc.. but you will surprisingly find it’s pretty rare texture :- ).
Out-of-the-box method by finding good texture of slab elsewhere (like Shutterstock) and creating the textures yourself might be necessary.

There are billion types of marble and stones and of course, each slab is different (hence why there like 200 Types of Calacatta White Marble alone).
Travertine/Limestone can be absolutely anything in structure and color, not just the popular roman version used in Barcelona Pavillion.
