Hello, it seems impossible to scatter a vraymesh… it is possible to create and scatter it, but when you render, you only render the ‘preview’ meshes ! do you have the same problem ?

Hi, no, I don’t have the same problem. But, what version are you talking about? What scatterer used, etc.??

The normal 3ds Max scatter will not work correctly with V-Ray proxies; you need a tool like MultiScatter or ForestPro. Best regards, Vlado

or you can scatter boxes, explode to single objects,(make sure you center the gizmos after exploding!) then use an objectreplacer script to replace the boxes with proxies.

Or you can just use object paint… that works with proxies… i think.
