Sharing assets between SketchUp and Rhino

Hi,

Is there a way to ‘export’ or save enscape assets from a SketchUp file and importing them into Rhino/Enscape for Rhino?

I’ve tried to import an SKP file into Rhino, but it seems that Enscape for Rhino only reads the low res proxy version, and not the ‘complete’ asset. This might be how Rhino reads the geometry comming from Skp.

So, does Enscape have a workaround for sharing assets between programs?

It’s theoretically possible but quite complicated and requires working with both Sketchup’s API and Rhino’s API to make a custom exporter/importer. Not something that will work for a typical architectural office unless you’re into programming I’m afraid.
