Is Sketchup 2022 supported?

SketchUp 2022 is not officially supported just yet, but will of course be as soon as possible, probably with our next release update, before our next full release. I’ll keep you posted in this thread in case I have more news to share soon.

This could just be the std plugin installer problem we experience with every major SU update or it could be a deeper change in the SU file format structure, either way, it could be true for us with Enscape.
I’d seriously recommend NOT installing SU2022 until all your favourite plugins are tested and made compatible. Personally, I usually wait until the 1st SU update after a major (2022 in this case) one.

Resist the urge to upgrade to the annual SketchUp numbering change. That’s about all there is new.
Yeah, feature additions & improvements are so minuscule, I don’t even bother to update every year anymore.
The only reason that make me update sketchup pro every year that Trimble improve their internal code for geometry so it enables Sketchup to handle more heavier geometry smoothly
I did a copy and paste of my entire plugins folder and the only 2 plugins that gave me an error was Enscape and V-Ray. VRay released their installer yesterday. As soon as we get an Enscape update, you should feel good about the upgrade.
What’s the rush to upgrade to SKP 2022? Are there new advancements? I’m over here on 2019 ^^

What’s the rush to upgrade Enscape every time a new version is released? Toys man - at this point its just bug fixes and a few new toys.
I’d “downgrade” back to 2019 if I could but then all of my projects wouldn’t open. Something I’ve always hated about “upgrading” to new SU releases- backward compatibility.
In a blind test, I bet 9/10 people wouldn’t know which version is which- aside from the default 2D character.
100% - Personally I left SKP for 3ds Max back in 2012 and picked it back up in 2019 and nothing has really changed except for the default scale figure. 
Thats pretty much true for 3dsmax as well… welcome to the subscription model.
Everyone, just as a heads up, SketchUp 2022 support will be added with Enscape 3.3, our next full release. I hope that until then you can still either have an installation of SketchUp 21 or prior on your machine or do not find the urgency to upgrade to 22 right away.
