Hey everyone,
I really need help with this. It’s the first time I’ve had Enscape on my laptop (HP Envy i7 intel core with iris xe graphics card, not even a year old) and I’m trying to render from SketchUp but it’s coming out with the weirdest filter on my renders (see picture). Does anyone know why this is or how I can fix it? I have played with all the visual settings and it looks like it’s trying to produce the normal effects but something is clearly very wrong. Hopefully something small.

Have you got mirrored walls and ceilings?
No I don’t, but there is a curtain wall of glass around all four sides of the building, but does that explain why even the Enscape people are rendering as almost see-through?
Hi @immymacc , I’m afraid this Intel GPU you are using is not currently officially supported by Enscape so it is normal to run into odd behavior like this. Please refer to our system requirements here - At the moment you will require either a dedicated AMD or NVIDIA GPU, hopefully you have a chance to upgrade your machine or switch to another.

I have a high functioning laptop (HP Envy i7 intel core with iris xe graphics card, not even a year old) that seems to be able to do everything else it’s so strange that it can’t do this. Do you know the quickest/easiest way to upgrade my machine? Can I do it online? Or do I need an entirely new one? Seems really weird that it isn’t compatible! But again thank you so much for your help and if you let me know what further actions I could take I would be so so grateful.
I’m so sorry about the inconvenience @immymacc , but I’m not too sure if there is a method to replace the current graphics card on your laptop - You may have to find an entirely new machine to make use of Enscape probably.
Can you let me know more about your laptop, some specific model number or such?
As said though it’s not likely that you can simply upgrade the existing machine. One reason we also do not support the Iris Xe graphics card is due to the low amount of VRAM of that unit, which barely meets our system requirements.
