Hi, i open this topic for vray 3.6 also and vray next has the same problem.. I import a tree proxy, scale it down, right click and scale definition and scatter with raytracer plugin.. But trees comes at the beginning size in render..
To scale and instance a Proxy you would first need wrap the proxy component within an extra component. Once this is done you can safely scale and then instance the top-level component.
If you scale the Proxy component directly, you will lose the transformation every time the Proxy preview is updated.
