So...no Web standalone?

So I’m testing the Web standalone and found a few things:

It doesn’t work if you have a HDRI image for your skybox. Takes awhile to export and forever to load, and when it does, I just get a white screen.

When I switch to the Enscape sky and preset background, it packages much faster and loads much faster, however, the preset background is gone and it looks like there’s no GI bouncing around. You also can’t use keyboard controls or have any of the interaction tools you get in VR mode.

So it’s not working.

It is still at an early stage and may not work for larger platforms and weaker machines. Also, the graphics are less detailed in terms of GI because obviously a web browser comes at some limitations compared to desktop applications.

Hmmm…ok. I have a pretty strong render machine with tons of memory and gpu so that wouldn’t be it.

It helps to use the latest firefox or chrome browser. If you send us your link to we can investigate the issue on your particular project.

The links are above. We’re a large design firm so we’re pretty up to date with our software.
