hi thomas…
great pictures, as usual
one thing: were you using excessive sharpening at the peugeot 107 stills or are the “jaggies” AA problems?
mike
Fantastic quality as usual in every aspect of the image.
the spherocam produces some nice hdris!

Thomas, these images are a year old? wow!
Great work as usual…only 1 critique:
Please don’t stay away for so long…your work inspires a lot of users!
@mike.edel , might be the sharpening, I usually do that to make the renderings crisp, but maybe it’s over done, 1 other guy commented on it too.
@armilla , jacksc02, thanks.
@Aneurisma , all 3 projects is imported to max using power translator.
@Olitech , sorry, my bad english.. it’s over a year ago I last did an update, the two cars is some months old but the phone is well over a year old.

@gilicom , it’s not “movie” but “moovie”, “moovie” is just the name of the car. but if you go to www.3e-oeil.com you can see an animation we did with it.

Very nice work Thomas, good to see some new work from you again. I am not into cars at all, so this is the first time for me to see the 107.

WOW!!! They look just amazing!!!
Did you use a HDRI-Cam? Those reflections and lighting look to good to be from a HDRI-library.
Very nice!!!
mirko looks like they used a spherocam to produce the hdris

oh - yes. I did not read the information on his site.
What does such a sphero-cam cost?
- Is it between 500€ - 5.000€?
- Is it between 5.000€ - 15.000 €?
- Is it between 15.000€ - 50.000€
- or even above?
Is there anybody who knows this?

wow…they are photo realistic.
the only thing that distracts me are the very sharp shadows…may be correct but i feel that they should be “softer”.
and the sharpening is very crisp on my monitor. especially the fine black lines on the bright peugeot.
