Once again eternal gratitude for another excellent service pack. When i think back to the days of 1.5 and 2.4 and how stressed out i would be trying to get final renders out, it’s just been a completely different experience vray 3+. Many thanks to all at Chaos group for continued improvements to Vray and dealing with the feature requests and with all “Corona does this…and Arnold does that…” discussions. Still believe you have a superior product.

[image]Easy control over VFB from remote desktop software Denoising separate render elements one by one and showing the denoised result is not possible in 3.40.01. It’s planned for a future release. Oh, ok. So if I understand this correctly, it will still denoise the different elements at the end, right? Just not as it renders. Thanks.

[image] Oh, ok. So if I understand this correctly, it will still denoise the different elements at the end, right? Just not as it renders. Thanks. It will use those elements for better denoising and will compose the result into the denoised RGB pass internally. For now it’s not possible to see the actual denoised elements. I know some may not use these elements, but they are an integral part of my workflow.

Thanks for the great service pack! This point alone was the reason for me to install it instantly. No changes to the lights in RT are blazing fast! (*) V-Ray RT: Moving a light during ActiveShade causes two light re-exports; Short question regarding the procedural textures in the bump slots for RT: Right now there is only the noise texture supported, right? Are the other ones coming in the next releases? (BerconNoise, Cellular, Smoke, Speckle etc.)

Are the other ones coming in the next releases? (BerconNoise, Cellular, Smoke, Speckle etc.) + Mix and Mask, sorry for missing them in the change log. We are working on the others, but I don’t think we can promise anything

Thank you Vlado and team :)!!! So when is Vray 4.0 coming 8)

[image]BSP tree parameter guide? So when is Vray 4.0 coming 8) It’s still many months (and at least 2-3 service packs) away; I will talk at EUE a bit more about our plans. Best regards, Vlado

Yes I’ ve heard that, too bad I can’t be there, but we’ll get a recap of some sorts I hope?

Public recording isn’t allowed, but I’ll try and beg Joep for at least an audio recording for later summation, if not transcript…

SP4 thanks
