Not sure what the correct term is for the grey, dead space outside the actual “live area” of the VFB where the image is drawn, but we’d like to be able to draw corona regions from this area into the live area to avoid having to adjust regions to the full w/h of the buffer. An obvious example is when you want to do a corona region across the full width/height of the image. Currently you have to start drawing the region inside the image then expand the region to the full width of the image. Bit fiddly.
Another idea connected with this is to have this grey border around the image a bit thicker by default. Resizing the window to make it thicker is the first thing I do every time I hit F9, not sure if others do it too.
What´s the purpose of doing so? Any hidden features? Or do you fear you miss something? 8] Because personally I prefer zero pixel size for this area (LM doubleclick).
