Here is a small project I’m working on. I rendered out the views (front and back) with a material override (V-Ray Dirt) and displacement for the different textures. I used PSD-Manager to mask all the different parts, and then simply did the painting in Photoshop.
what u mean u did the painting in photoshop? As in make a new layer and just give it a flat colour, then just play with layer style or opacity to get that look? So this way it is VERY quick to get variations and you dont have to render with the colour everytime?
my sound didn’t work… I’ll work on that!
Okay. I recorded it again, but this time, with sound.
You’ll never get proper GI color bleed etc with that method but it sure is flexible
I agree, but it gives the owners an idea, and it is predictable in its results.[quote=“YoyoBoy, post:4, topic:38094, username:YoyoBoy”]
