TXT to Jpeg

I want to resize all of my textures, but I have already converted them to TX. TX seem to be a lot larger in file size. Can I convert them back to jpegs?

Rename to tif. Tx files are basically mipmapped tiff files, that’s why they’re bigger as they store multiple sizes.

Yes, but then I would have to relink them all. When I edit them I do rename them to a tiff. In this case I want to batch convert, keeping the link, and then resize them.

You have some scripts that can resize images without being destructive, but they don’t support .tx. I asked John to support .tx but not sure if it’s feasible. https://jokermartini.com/product/ima…ture-resizing/ or (not sure if keeps the originals as well): https://renderpeople.com/plugin/

To relink you can actually use Relink Bitmaps script from Colin Senner with the option to ignore the file extensions.

I literally just bought that script :).
