Hello guys
I wonder one thing: Would it be possible to use the values (black - all inbetween - white) from a render pass like “reflections” or “refractions” or “specular” as a mask for an adjustment layer in the VFB?

That would basically allow me to cancel Photoshop ![]()
well in a nutshell… there are still some areas PS excels, but yep, it would be a major step towards independence.
There’re 9000 other things- blend if, ACR, Remove tool, actions, inpainting etc etc.
Best you log the idea in the Portal.
Yes, I was obviously understating. As a PS replacement, that would be a stretch, a stretch considerable.
yep, I was looking actually for this link. It would be a charm, if you could pin it in the left side column under “important” links. Or shall I log this idea in the portal as well?
No, just kidding.
I actually gave feedback about exactly this during the testing period of the new forum. I’ll bring it up again.
