I am having problems with vegetation, mostly trees, they all seem to be a lot brighter than on the thumbnails on Enscape assets. When I am exploring renderings by other users, they really vary from dark green to bright, and so, while mine just have this similar tone. I tried to check also visual settings, but this problem does not disappear. This Enscape is plugin for Revit 2021.
I am attaching the screenshot, having species such as pine, maple, birch, while they all look aproximately the same.
based on that information and looking at the screenshot you provided this perceived brightness is probably due to the grass texture you’re using, which I believe is still shipped with Revit. It is known to be way too dark, which in return let’s other assets/textures appear too bright, due to how auto-exposure works. Please try to find a different grass texture to compare the vegetation assets with and see if that helps!
No, unfortunately, this is not the solution. I understand what you mean, but I put darker grass in project screenshot just to show that various species really do not differ..
I have watched this video https://www.facebook.com/EnscapeLibraryTutorialTips/videos/268663200687458/ with beautiful vegetation, but I am still unable to change it in my case.
Types of the trees I put on this screenshot are following: elm 09, maple 09, oak 04, pine 02, rowan 04, tree 14
This is very important issue for me because I am working on forest villa project, so I need to check if it can be solved.
He @zaklina , one thing that’s crucially affecting the perceived tree color is the sun angle. Did you slide through different daytimes by using Shift + Right Mouse button? One tree will look different colors throughout the day.
The Thumbnails for Enscape Assets are shot with the White Background option enabled, and with a more or less low standing sun.
If this doesn’t help improving your result, can you please send us a bigger image? Maybe an actual rendering? I can’t yet see clearly what appears to be wrong.
but leafy trees are for sure brighter then might be
look at the bark its quite dark in comparison with leafs even if whole tree is in shadow , leafs are unnaturally bright /so no foliage material effect is there/
i remember it was too dark before , now they are too bright ,
well maybe its time for change 3d assets supplier …
Again, sun angle really plays an important role. Also, keep in mind if you compare it to real life trees that are standing separated or in a group or a forest.
Here’s another example with a different sun angle photo and a rendering of mine:
