Video Cards fit for the Vray 3.6

I read some details on GPUs. But I want your suggestion/recommendation guys on which one should I choose to speed up the rendering, is it Quadro or GTX? Does CUDA numbers greatly affect the rendering time? Actually I have Quadro M4000, do I switch to GTX with a big CUDA cores?

V-Ray GPU works great on GTX GPUs. For V-Ray GPU CUDA, prefer Pascal-based GPUs, keep an eye on number of CUDA cores and available RAM on the GPU.
