Ok, let’s leave the size/spread of vignetting aside as it does depend on the camera lens settings. What if we just want to turn it on or off on the fly while rendering and also maybe adjust the opacity? Won’t break any physical laws but at least you won’t have to rerender just to add or remove this …

Oh and now you’ve got all these Scanned Materials, have you thought any more about my hypothetical question of could we have polarising filters in VRay to mimic effects that we have in real-life like when shooting a car and we want to tone down the reflection?
