I’m trying to render a scene with VR camera. In my camera setup and render setup I have depth of field ON and it’s parameters set properly (when I turn off Override in camera settings DOF works as expected), but as soon as I set projection type to Spherical/Cubemap it doesn’t work at all.
Is it possible to render DOF in spherical/cubemap (especially in VR mode) at all?
I currently planned a dof view with VR mode too, for promotion purpose. Never heard about this limitation.
A bit off topic, hi maru, can you release something like an official list of corona’s limitations? Because some features limitations is caused by needed more long time research (ex:this thread, cant render volumetric fog when camera is inside the volume )
and the other case is caused by max limitation (i forgot which features ),
and the other case again is not a real limitation because corona is already developing it or planning it (ex:shadowcatcher noises in composite mode),
and the other other case again is caused by technical issues (ex:coronaAO as bump/displacement),

It was actually done by adding random noise controller to the camera, or moving it along some circular spline, and then enabling motion blur. Its target was in place, so that was the focal point.
Pretty much, but I didn’t really think of that. And also for 360 rendering it has to be done in 3 dimensions I guess, or over a surface of a sphere, like with a spherical image sensor.
