Vray 3.0 Beta over and now dongle won't work with Vray 2.40

I received the obtain license (-98) error message today and then I discovered that the Vray 3.0 beta trial is finished today. So, I uninstalled 3.0 and then re-installed 2.40 only to find that the dongle will now no longer work. When I started the 3.0 beta trial I had to copy/update files on the dongle - do I now have to roll back these files somehow for it to work with 2.40 again? I’m getting the following error now “WibuKey Network Server is NOT running!” and I cannot get it to start.

This is killing me because I needed to use it first thing this morning. Please help, thanks.

Try to unplug the dongle, close the V-Ray license server (not the WibuKey Network Server; this one is not needed and doesn’t do anything), plug the dongle back in and start the license server again.

If that doesn’t work, email us to vray@chaosgroup.com or call our office directly.

Thanks Vlado, that worked. I’ll ask to have my beta trial extended until January 14th 2014 and send you in my WBC file.
