Just intalled VRay 7.2. When i launch a Vantage Live Link with an existing c4d scene saved in VRay 7.1, and then i open the .vantage config file, my camera are moved several meters away from their originals positions. I can’t explain this weird transformation. The only way to work is to set up again a fresh new .vantage file and re-enter parameters…
Hi @f2b Thank you for reporting this. I am currently unable to reproduce it on our side.
1. Are you able to reproduce it with every scene, even a simple one, or is it scene related?
2. If you work with a scene made with V-Ray 7.2, does it appear?
3. If you delete the camera and create a new one, do it reproduce?
4. Could you record a video of your process to see the export and the difference in between in-Cinema and Vantage?
5. What version of Vantage are you using?
6. When you say “Only way to work is re-enter parameters”, what parameters do you mean?
Hi @viktor_angelov , The proglem occurs even with 7.2 scene. When you have started a Live Link, and let’s say the camera B is the current render view, next if you load the previous Vantage scene as config file that was saved with Camera A as render view, then the cameras positions are upside down. In complex scene with many cameras, actually we have to load the vantage file for each cameras fo find which was the activated one when saved
