Hey Vray users
Is it possible to add vray edge softening to a material that already has an applied bitmap bump on it- Seems there is no option to add a second map-
If I make it a layered material and change one bitmap it changes the other?
Any assistance would be apprecieted.

Hi Jahnyboy,
There is a Bump Material that you can use to wrap the base shader.
In the original material you can keep the standard bump texture, while adding the edges (softening) map in the Bump Material.
You then apply the Bump material to the geometry.
The same technique can be used if you want to combine multiple bump and normal maps for the same material.
As far as the second part of your question goes:
We’ll add the possibility for one map to be instanced in multiple material slots or even in-between materials in the next V-Ray version.
