A guy emailed me back from VRAY about a year ago, saying that it was their intention to release VRAY multiplatform - and that a Maya version was being worked on…
Are we likely to see a version of VRAY for Maya? Quite frankly, there is no decent rendering system within a good price-range for Maya… I know that you get MentalRAY with it, but it is as slow as all heck.

I got an similar answer a couple of weeks ago.
But nothing precise.
So in my opinion instead of waiting for product that is mainly programmed for max and then for other apps like Maya
it is maybe better to wait for product that is designed for Maya directly

That software is at least in betastage, and most important the Crew answer your questions.
Maybe it is more worth waiting for that product, or to have a closer look
in therer development.
