VRay Fresnel Map

Hi Chaos group,

I have a much needed product suggestion.

After a lot of trial and error, it seems that there is no proper solution.

I would like to request that Chaos Group make a new texture map that has the exact Glossy fresnel IOR, parameters as seen in the VrayMtl’s reflection properties.

This would act as a proper Glossy fresnel mask for layering specular materials using VRay Blend Material.

The current Fresnel Falloff does not have the option for Glossy Fresnel and so cant re-create the same specular settings as a VRay Material.

This is a huge problem for me as I am trying to create a skin shader using ALSurface with the specular from VrayMtl layered on top using VRayblendMtl.

I hope you can fix this problem soon as its a very big issue. I really hope this problem can be solved very soon as the workflow for layering specular is currently broken.

This needs to be done right now. It’s top priority. I’m really shocked at this massive problem. Cannot believe it.
