vray light question

Hi all
I’ve noticed that when i check store with irradiance map , the scene will render almost 3 times faster then when its not checked.
But there is a diffrence between the renders ..
Is there a way that i can use the store with irradiance map and still get the better resualts that i’m getting without the - store with irradiance map checked?
question no 2 - Does it have any effect when i’m rendering an animation?(when i check the store with irradiance map)

if you store with irradiance map, the quality will depend on the quality of your irradiance map. So if you want to improve the quality of your rendering, you will need to increase your irradiance map settings. But that will of course increase your render time as well.

mostly it is as simple as this: high quality=high render times

Well I often find the the quality of the shadow is often better when I select “store with irr. map” This is mostly becuase I usually have my irr. map settings preety high. However, keep in mind that if you are not rendering any irr. map, you will get no shadow.

Ok I tried with high settings and it render fine..
I’m doing an animation and up until now i used to calculate the irr map without the store with irr map checked (it was sloww)
Is there known proplems when rendering animation with the store with irr map checked?

I making an animation with store with irradiance map option checked, it works very fine.
Just a detail: my vray light was with 4 subdivision to have noise and with (store with irradiance map checked noise disapear!) but render very clean and very fast.
