Vray log message window

Does anyone know what happened to the old vray log message window in VRAY 3.3?
Am I doing something wrong, the old one used to give me useful info about how many DR spawners I had working upon startup etc, etc…
Now I am getting this message window that looks like the mental ray error message window

even the new VRAY 3.3 docs show the old message window

somebody please tell me what I am doing wrong

There’s nothing wrong that you are doing; we experimented with using the 3ds Max render messages window, since there is an API for it for 3ds Max 2016. However this turned out to be not such a great idea, so we reverted it back for the next patch.

oh ok,
so when is the next patch coming out?
I don’t mind the new message window, if there is a way to see the DR spawners that are being used,
so on a side note, why is that vray for Sketchup has that nifty “find servers” button but max doesn’t?
I love that feature, as it lets me know who has there DR spawner turned on.
maybe in a future build

This week, if all goes well.

I don’t mind the new message window, if there is a way to see the DR spawners that are being used,You can right-click in the Max window and set it to show informational messages - you should be able to see the DR servers listed there.

so on a side note, why is that vray for Sketchup has that nifty “find servers” button but max doesn’t?It’s coming to Max too. We had this functionality a long time ago, but it was disabled at some point as we never finished it. But one of our developers is looking into it now.
