Can someone explain to me why when I change the fog colour on a refractive material the fog in the material preview can change from blue to green suddenly when I’m sliding across the hues. I don’t seem to be able to do fine adjustments. Should I be adjusting something else to help me get the fog colour and density I want ?
If I’m correct multiply and bias also affects it and its “sensitivity” also its also relative to thickness of glass if I’m not wrong so fire up RT and fine tune it I guess…
Thanks.Looks like I’ll have to play around a bit with those settings.
It’s because of the size of the sphere in the material preview (100 units). I think there is an option somewhere in the ME to change the size.

That’s interesting. I’ll check that out. Thanks.

A window’s glass is typical between 6mm and 12mm depending on type.
Same with a bottle, it’s typical between 1mm and 3 mm thick
But the sphere in the material editor is a huge solid marble
