As far I can understand, you want to use newer drivers (that we’ve marked as incompatible with V-Ray), is that right?
Where does it say which drivers are incompatible with V-Ray?
There is an auto check in V-Ray Next GPU. There should be a warning in the log if the current driver is not recommended for rendering.
OMG. Anybody is using? wont work hardware acc with 388 above drivers. But ok. ty all. there’s a new version, maybe works.

388 is actually the latest driver that works well. I can see that NVIDIA has just released 398, on which we cannot provide reliable recommendations yet until we test it thoroughly (anythine in between is not stable).
Is that how you’ve fixed the problem? With the 398 drivers? It would be useful to other people reading the forums to know (me included) 
Ah, then we’ve tested it and marked as not working.
I don’t see a problem here. Nvidia releases drivers that are not stable for rendering and we don’t have control over that. Warning users about it is the best we can do.
