I was just looking into proxies and was wondering if there is any way to keep the subdivision & subdiv setting in the proxy (via the vray attributes). once I create a vray proxy this information seems to be gone.

Hi,
If you add subdivision on the proxy node, the proxy will be subdivised (but you will loose the memory optimization of the proxy).
But, you want to keep all settings. You can use “user attributes” to track some attributes if you want. User attributes are stored.
