VRays Own Procedural Maps

I guess you get this message only for the bercon maps plugin and other plugins load fine ?

Looking at the message - Max tries to load file called “._BerconMaps_2017_64.dlt” - did you rename it that way (with dot and underscore) ? Could you try renaming it to the original name without the dot and underscore (although it worked on my machine with exactly the same path and filename) ?

Best regards,
Yavor

the actual file isn’t named that way, I have no idea why it pops up like that!

Hm that could be the problem - maybe some setting in the plugin.ini? As an experiment - could you try to put it there and name it exactly like that?

ok I will try later, when I am at home…
Thank you for your concern!

Is there zero intention to bring new (or bercon) procedurals to VRay? I do hate relying on third parties to keep things up to date and functional.

It’s not that we don’t want to do it, there’s just so much other stuff to look into as well…

Best regards,
Vlado

I don’t get it, in my plugin.ini there is only path to the directories…
how would I tweak the actual plugin name??

Ok solve the problem… stupid.
I did show hidden files and went to my morePlugins folder and there it was… the fucking .bercon_blah which was not a valid win32 blah…

Glad to hear that the issue is solved
