Are you using the scene I sent you along with the .vrmesh?

I’ve used vray standalone to render a scene and it reported 2.55.01. This is apparently the version of the vray core. The V-Ray for Maya version is still 2.45. So excuse me for the caused confusion. Hm, do you have the show whole mesh attribute set on any of the meshes? I’ll see what happens when…

Aha, I’m actually using Maya 2014 here when I render and get the fatal error. I actually managed to get it to render without a crash, please see the scenarios below! Bounding box disabled, show whole mesh enabled: Fatal error Bounding box disabled, show whole mesh disabled: Rendered without error…

I’ll try to debug it and try to fix the problem, but as workaround you can iterate all your scenes with mayapy and disable “show whole mesh” to prevent crashes.

Rev 25052 should has the fix in it. The change log for the 2.45 night builds is not 100% correct, because of limitations of our system at the moment.
