If I understand you correctly, you can do it with VrayInstancer and VrayMultiSubTex map. See Vlado’s last comment in this thread: - Chaos Forums

You could also make use of the render id which is naturally random.

Where is the RenderID parameter for a geometry located? Is it hidden to the user and does only Vray read it?

I don’t believe it is changeable by the user. It’s generated at render time and is unique per node (up to some limit).
