"Warning : Using CPU color correction for <path to texture> "

Hi,

I get a bunch of these errors in a scene I’m working with:
Warning : Using CPU color correction for A:\xxxxxx\xxxxxxx\xxxx\maps\Onyx_Maple_doorPanel.tiff

Why do these appear? I do use the native 3ds Max “Color Correction” map in the scene. Is this not supported with GPU? Or sub-optimal? Should I use another map for color correction when I use the GPU engine to avoid this error?

It just means that the transformation of that particular bitmap will be a bit slower. You can safely ignore the warning.

How we can fix this?

There’s nothing to fix.

Thanks! How much slower are we talking about?

Negligible. Talked to the devs, who concluded that it’s better to remove the “warning” (yellow highlight) of this message, since it only causes confusion. I’ll inform you whenever there’s a build in which it’s implemented.

No worries! Thanks for letting me know.
