Do you have an example picture of the look you want to go for? If its some “rough” waterfall where you mostly see the spray and white water you can cheat alot with a simple particle sim. On the other hand do you have access to a fluid simulation package?

stock footage sites, but it’s slim pickings for shots without camera movement. It’s worth filming yourself if you’ve got access to a 5d & tripod - we now have a pretty extensive library of varying sizes of fires, candles, fireworks, waterfalls & taps etc.
