where can be the vray beta for rhino downloaded from?

Hi,

I applied to test the beta and I got confirmation email from chaosgroup with link where this beta is suppose to be.
Unfortunately I can’t find anything there.

Where should it be located?

We have setup a forum for the public beta of V-Ray 1.5 for Rhino. I will look into why they are not showing up and report back.

Hi Corey,
Which username and password is it looking for. I’ve tried the forum one (which appears to work because I’m here) but it says it is invalid.

I also have record of a website username and password. It’s telling me, however, that it is invalid as well. Which one do I need and how do I go about fixing it so that I can download?

I also cannot find where to download the Beta. I received the following e-mail:
“You have successfully applied for the V-Ray for Rhino beta. Please, visit our website and download the beta now. We will appreciate your feedback and comments.”

When I click the website link, it brings me to their site and I cannot find the Beta download. When I go to the download section, all I find is the old version to download. Any help figuring this out would be greatly appreciated!

I am also having problems locating the download, and also received an e-mail with the link to where it should be. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hello all-

As far as the beta download goes, you should receive two emails from us after you have applied for the public beta. The first email will be to confirm that we have collected your information. The second email will provide you with the username or in some cases a username and password for you log in to www.chaosgroup.com. Once you are logged in proceed to Downloads>V-Ray for Rhino or http://www.chaosgroup.com/en/2/downloads.html?s=v-ray-rhino and you should see the downloads for the beta.

The application process is not automatic so there will be some delay with time zone differences and while each application is being approved. If you have not received the second email, I can assure you that we will process your application as soon as possible. We do ask for your patience as it does take us time to go through this process.

Finally, you cannot use your forum username and password to login to the website. You will need to use the login information provided to you in the second email.

chaos group has to update your profile in order to appear the Beta build for downloading and same for the Vray beta forum thread

I still have not received the second e-mail, nor have a I been able to find the beta download. Is there a reason why I have not been given access? Has anyone else not received a second e-mail as of yet?
