Hey all!
So I thought it would be a fun idea to start a thread where people could share their models in “white mode.” It could be a work in progress or any finished model.
Here it goes, I’ll start it off with this image!
nice shot!
Wow, beautiful!
VERY COOL!!!
looks convinced!
Haha better late than never! The perforated steel facade looks great in white mode. Are you using an alpha mask texture for that?
Yeah, same texture for all the perf, just different scales to give you varying levels of transparency.
Wow, beautiful!!
Great pict!! How did you do the insite lighting? Revit or SU?
Thank you! Using SketchUp for this model. I have a skybox with lighting turned down pretty low while having “Ambient Brightness” turned on fairly high. I noticed it works best when closer to the model.
For the past month, I’ve been using more SketchUp plugins to progress my modeling skills and in the middle of the process I find architectural ideas to flow at the same time. So here is a work in progress of something I’ve been working on with my free time.

Hm do you know why the leafs are so bright?
I put the leaves on a slight self-emitter too pop the colors out because the albedo was looking a little pale. I’ll hopefully have the finished render out soon to show the style.
really nice man!!
Looks very nice even without textures @Steven_Garubba . The sun at this specific time adds some nice warmth to the rendering. ![]()
