how do i get rid of these? i’ve already turned on ‘clamp output’ and ‘sub-pixel’ under color mapping.

Double check if you have enable reflective GI at the Indirect Illumination option. If yes, disable it.

Those are not the same spots that “clamp output” and “sub pixel” would fix. That is something different. Im guessing your using irradiance map?

hsph. subdivs in IM rollout to low maybe? Just a guess

this happened to me before and i found out that my caustic is on enabled. i turned off caustic and they are gone.

I’ve tried pretty much everything you’ve told me. Nothing works. Here’s my settings. Any ideas?

Hey Vise,
If you have refraction layer on the glass make sure you checked Affect alpha and Affect shadows, under the refraction settings menu.
