cloud does not work at all

Hi, since yesterday evening i do not have any reaction when hitting the cloud button, just from one moment to the other, installing the latest cloudinstaller several times does not help. I have tried different .skp files, restart everything and so on. Exporting a vrscene works fine, local rendering as well. Any problem on your side?

Latest version of vray next and sketchup 2020 on a mac.

Currently everything is fine on our side. Can you please let me know from where you start the Cloud button? Do you go through the Asset Editor? Or do you use the Cloud button from the V-Ray toolbar? Or both? A screen-shot will be of great help.

I am having this issue lately in Vray for SU. Click the cloud button, bottom left corner says initializing Renderer, then Parsing Geomertry, then Building Scene, then goes nowhere. Any Ideas?

Can you please help with answers to these questions which will help us investigate the issue further:

1. Can you please share which version of V-Ray you have installed? We used to have such problem before but it was fixed in the latest versions of V-Ray Next and V-Ray 5.

2. Are you able to start the Chaos Cloud client app in stand-alone mode? You can start the application from its installation folder here:
Windows Default Install directory - %appdata%\Chaos Group\Cloud\Client\ccloud.exe
macOS Default Install directory - /Applications/ChaosGroup/Cloud\Client/ccloud

3. And another request - can you please before pressing the Cloud button open the VFB window and press the "Show progress log" button in the bottom right corner? Then please press the Cloud button and let us know what happens.

Hi there Vladie, thanks for the reply -
1. I am running 4.20.03 - I can't upgrade to 5 as 5 will not render SUPlants for some reason (and I use these often)
2. I have attached a screen shot - for future reference what do you do after you launch this?
3. I did this - screen shot attached, and funnily enough after a couple of minutes it launched chrome and worked - so I have got no idea (it wouldn't work at all the other day)
So I am not sure what is going on now? Cheers, Nick

Thanks for the follow-up! If you can update to V-Ray 5, that'll be great as I believe the issue is fixed there. But meanwhile you can use the workaround. Sorry for the troubles.

Hi there Vladie, I am now running the latest version (as of this morning and am having the same issue. I can't render using the Titan (RTX) - it will only render in CPU mode. It was rendering fine last night but not this morning. Please find 2 x logs attached, Cheers, Nick

Are you able to use the RTX GPU engine for rendering a new SketchUp scene or does the issue occur only with specific projects?
If a new empy scene renders fine, please submit one of your projects for investigation at https://www.chaosgroup.com/help/cont.../scene#options or via a file-sharing service of your choice.
