Error

Multiple render elements with the same name are not supported.

This is the error I'm getting while trying to submit a single image to render in the cloud.

I have 4 render elements
Light_Mix
Z_depth
Extra_Tex
Cryptomatte

All are labelled differently, I cant find where the error is coming from.
Any ideas?

Here is the scene without the assets. I have only deleted the assets and materials.

Hello,

I have tested with the scene that you provided and I am not able to reproduce the error locally at our side.
Can you please update your Chaos Cloud Client App version to the latest available here: https://cloud.chaos.com/download-client-app

If you are still getting the same error with it when you try to submit to Chaos Cloud, can you please let me know the exact versions of Maya and V-Ray that you are using.

All the latest updates were used Maya 2020.4 Latest VRay release and cloud client.
I was wondering if some of the referenced assets had brought in some render elements? but these would have had a name space anyway.

I had the same problem of submitting...Error

Multiple render elements with the same name are not supported.

I just remove all the render elements and submit it again. and it works.

i do use xref. and check all the xref are without renderelemnts.

hope this reslove the issue

Is this forum still active? 2024 and having same error. Constantly actually. "Multiple render elements with the same name are not supported". Any solutions? When I delete all elements it works, once I start adding few, same message pops up.

Hi, thanks for posting. Which host platform are you using (is it Maya)? Please update your V-Ray to the latest version and re-install the Cloud Client App.
Is this issue happening in a new simple scene? What render elements were you using when you got the issue? Please share your scene that reproduces the issue here or on the support contact form.

I tested the scene form post number 3. It is a Maya scene and it submits and renders without issues on my end.
