  • 3DS Max wave modifier is not supported in Cloud render? - My whole project is based on this feature :(

    Hei Support and supportive people

I have an animation that use the wave modifier in 3DS Max 2023 and I render with Vray 6.1.1. When running it through cloud the animated waves in my ocean makes the mesh not render. Without the wave modifier it render perfectly! Please HELP! This have to be finished tomorrow

It went very well. I had just missed this option to change from Tangent to Object in the VrayDisplacementMod. When doing it, it was no problem combining Wave modifier and VrayDisplacementMod!

Update. It is the combination of the VrayDisplacementMod and Wave modifier that is making problems... checking more... Any tips?

and then I figured it out..... I think. The combination of the Wave modifier and the VrayDisplacementMod needed me to change Tangent to Object (in the VrayDisplacementMod)! Will render in the night and hopefully it will be as expected
