Design is not mine, but the rendering is. Outside lighting is a VRay Sun and the flares come directly from VRay, no post (on flares). C&C welcomed. Still on VRay 3.6.

Yes, always a challenge. Somehow I had the Vray light material set at 1500 on the chandelier filament or something and the glare came out quite nice.

Imo the sky should be burned to look real. But alas, I had my fair share of clients that wanted a blue-ish sky outside in an interior.

Yeap! I have had it both ways too. I'd also burn the sky more... anyhow, to each their own....
