Are Max 18 plugins not compatible with 19 if you place the files manually? I thought a lot of times a recompile wasn’t necessary between years?

You can't just copy the plugin files over to MAX 2019, I get an error for both.

It's just a 3DS MAX snow particle system and I did some motion blur.

Here is their Sunny Winter day. I added some texture to the snow, however, I am losing some in brighter areas.
