  • Small bathroom

I have to whine first I tried vray sun/sky, hdri dome, different rect light positions, but just couldnt't get the feel light is coming from outside so I ended up toning down the natural light and using artifical light instead. I know it's a small bathroom with a small window so you would need to turn on the lights anyway. At the end I also increased GI contrast becuase the scene still looked flat. Then also increased clarity and contrast in PS...and yes sharpened since my clients complain about clarity of my renders. I'll just sharpen everything now too

the sky looks odd with the glow on the window frame, also the sky is missing in the mirror reflection

    Rest looks great

even through a pinhole like that you can get decent amount of sunlight. remember about portals to get VRaySky in there as well.
additional lights are 450lumens/40W. you would probably use some more directional down lights but even with these you can see how weak they are next to the sun.

          edit:
but as natural light is obviously not the main feature of this bathroom I would just do evening/night.

Yeah, thanks, that's a pretty nice reproduction
What intensities did you use for vray sun/sky system?

              haha, thanks.
just defaults with more turbidity. gray mat is maybe a bit brighter than your bathroom but fairly close.
portal behind the window, VRaySky in the background.
