The ballooning looks suspiciously like a displacement texture error. I've had it with some people when the maps were not linked correctly.
They should be charged for such an extreme lighting change no? Very cheeky to expect otherwise methinks.
My guess is that you'll do the changes and they will then revert to the original

the door without frame and trim looks weird. i don't think this place has a 5K fancy Italian frameless door for the pantry. I don't like your trees, they look "CG dated"

That's what their drawings show, so that's what they got. What trees, there is the one in the apartment view and the ones you see in the clubhouse view get compliments almost every time, so I continue to use the. What's the problem and what tree library would you recommend?

Both...the ones by the clubhouse don't look realistic. They are very dark and no variations in color and size. Regarding the door, Check it with your client because it doesn't look right and your interior looks very good with that exception.
I haven't use Vray in a while so my libraries probably look very dated as well...I'm using Lumion and for what I need is perfect.

The first interior looked much better due to the lighting. It looks like changing it, though their decision, has somewhat flattened it generally, so there seems a lack of contrast in comparison.
I think the thing with the framless opening is that the lighting/shadow is creating an optical illusion making it 'Escher-like', if you know what I mean
              The first one looked fine.

Yea, I told them what would happen when they remove the ceiling lights. I told them the only real light would be from the small window behind the camera. I see what you mean about the Escher-like opening. Yes, it isn't a door, but an opening.

I changed the angle, changed the door and render it out again.

I’m seeing those box artifacts still. Is this still not fixed in NEXT?

Same problem here, this AdaptiveDome light bucket issue drives me mad...Most of the time it works and then they appear out of nowhere when you are sure everything is perfect with your scene...(!)

Something very weird going on there. To my eye those 'artifacts' are going along perspective lines on the ceiling and the walls - so not the usual bucket errors. Do they match up to the geometry topology?
I don't see them on other areas other than walls/ceiling.

It is just a flat ceiling, so no, no geometry lines.
