  • Car renders in Maya

    Hi all,

At the office we recently switched from MentalRay to Vray (finally).
I always used to work with Vray before, but in combination with 3ds Max. But that has been nearly 10 years ago.
So to get back to speed with Vray in combination with Maya, I decided to do some renders in my personal time to learn new settings, materials etc.
Inspired by the likes of Rain Prisk, Kkyzyl Saleem and Ash Thorp, I decided to go with some car renderings.

    Feedback welcome ofc

      Thanks!
You mean from mental ray to vray of from 3ds max vray to maya vray?
The first one is a big difference for me. Vray makes life way more easy. Shader wise it's not THAT different, but I get way better results with way less work.
If you were asking about the transition between vray max / maya, then it's hard to say as I havven't touched max for about 10 years, except for converting models to import in maya

Those look nice man, but I think they need a bit of a contrast and film look to them as I feel that's what the style of these are.
