This was a critique "I liked the little car going 140 around the circle"(it is going way too fast) also I would get rid of the people between the camera and the railing, I think it was in the hanging garden they look like they are falling off the edge.

Well, looks alot better now, and a much more acceptable file size.

I think is pretty great work overall.
One minor thing is some of the people are floating above the ground. The most noticable being at 2:40 just near the hanging gardens bit the guy is floating about a foot off the ground

          thanks daforce.
This is one of the rpc's bug. they are make to be viewed from 3/4 up not in front view and less in bottom view. they are always in a fixed perspertive. When they are two one of those fly.

great piece of work, well worth the download. What was the time frame on the project, how many worked on it?
              Cheers,

Not a bad thing. I think someone said earlier, but the shear scale of the thing is impressive enough. It must have been quite a difficult project.

My thoughts are that the underlying render quality is pretty good, but I just hate the RPC stuff. I know this is what clients want, but I find them repetative and very unnatural. Unfortunately, I can't really suggest any alternatives as we have always had the same issues ourselves. "C'mon programmers - make us some good poeple to use in our work!"

One of the most successful things with this animation is the shop fronts in the mall - they look very convincing. A nice level of illumination on them. Did you make these as self illuminating objects, and if so, did you tell them not to affect GI? (the reason I ask is that in the past, self illuminating things have caused me render errors - blobs and stuff all over the place).

Final point - what this animation needs is a good soundtrack. It will add richness and depth to the presentation.
                                Kind Regards,
                                Richard Birket
