Just a nother test I did some time ago. There are some cracks in the animation, due to not all the frames were rendered or I moved the camera. It´s different settings in the animation so the noice differ. The rendertimes in the end was aboute 10 min/frame, (sss, glossy, motionblur)

    hope you like

If you can't beat it (the noise), join it

It does look pretty good behind it all, how long would it take to get a clean render out of it?

        Mmmm same problem

Media Player Classic is using the MJPEG decompressor but it only shows the first frame. Very unusual way to compress video.
I tried it on 2 computers and didnt work on either, and they both have a fair whack of codecs on them.

          PICVideo MJPEG Codec
Maby wsomething that comes with premiere pro. I thought it was more clear than qtime.
maby I can put on a nother codec. The problem is that I dont want the noice to get to blured in the codec, as I dont want the file size to get to big

              heheh thats the ticket.

              Looks cool. Weird movements

You should try compressing it with xvid on a high setting. I think would be much smaller and still look the same.

                  Xvid is brilliant.

If you can spare the extra processing time, make sure you run a 2pass variable bit rate encoding. Better quality + better file size.
If your not sure how just good for xvid encoding 2 pass vbr or something similar

                  or ask me here.

I opened the file in virtual dub, which did play it completely. I was cool

Im pretty sure its worked for me in the past..... what problems did you have? was xvid just not available or did it just not compress as it should?

Im not sure what xvid codec you have, but i highly recommed Koepi's version. Get it here

the newer xvid versions also worked fine for me - took them from koepi, too

no bugs so far and some advanced settings (besides its faster)

It works now. thank you. I had to turn of the status window though. Otherwise it´s just freezes everything
