I saw your page francomanko, Also the glorybound page, vizioen or something called digital twins, fixeigthed and Muhhamed.

That are a really Nice renders, My work is that kind of Quality but with vray for sketchup.

Next week im going to select the Best renders and upload here.

A rustic architecture, don't take it Bad francomanko just said that My work has Quality as yours and the others that i said.
    Just to put an example

Also Open range have a Lot of options here to see a how really looks a Nice render.

I have never showed My work because i work more like an artist, sometimes keep the renders with me and with the clients. Just that

Max and maya are Miles away than sketchup, but i think i can produce a Nice work to Match that renders that i have seen here in the forum.

The next week im going to show My architecture here with some renders.

You can see Miles away who works with pasión and effort and who works just for the money. They are free to do what ever they want.

In real buildings this happens too, someone who works just for the money and fame and someone who works to see a happy family inside the house or a really beautiful house.

I think I get it. You occupy a higher, more ethically pure and artistic ground? I greatly admire your passion and look forward to seeing the outstanding work you will share. Thanks!

luisgamino2 You really, really need to stop now, as it is possible that you are digging for yourself a rather deep hole.

I guess we shall see, though I would have to impress upon you the fact that this is most definitely not some sort of pissing contest.
It's (mostly) a professional forum and not one that will happily tolerate anti-constructive and frankly quite rude commentary.

          Just sayin'

Had to make an adjustment to roof at entry per architect request. Got some different aspen trees form Globe (thanks for that link!) added a linear curves adjustment layer in pshop. tried a bit of color grading. don't have time to mess with the native grass but will look to enhance that in the future.

            Thanks again to all!

While I agree with that sentiment in general, I also feel you need to judge whether the work you do will convince other clients to hire you. Any particular client might not stay around forever, and you'll need to have the best work possible to be able to sell your skillset to someone else at some point, potentially. I think Open Range has an open attitude to feedback, when its given in the correct manner, and the learning and improvement process should never end, for all of us.

It isn't complicated. Find someone whose work you like and strive to be as good. What are they doing that you like? We are all the same, nobody is born to be better, and for the most part, they just try harder.

                    10 mins in Photoshop

The clouds are too busy and the sky hue is off, just replaced with clear sky. Some sparse cirrus clouds might work? Also, the vegetation needed correcting with hue/sat. Lifted the image brighter, and added some overall contrast. Faint vigenette added. Image is too green/yellow (mucky), needed more blue less green.

Find a photo you like that *generally* matches your scene (viewing angle/lighting/Vegetation etc) and try to correct your render to match the photo.

So, matching hues for any vegetation in your scene. Tonality and hue of the sky. Look how light hits a surface in the ref photo and increase the intensity of highlights in your image if necessary.

Over time you will start to see vast improvements in your imagery, and it will all become second nature.

I think the clear glass is what is hurting the image. Black those out 95% and add a slight blue tint. I mask my glass, and I always add some blue.

                          >> Bruce Hart, Glorybound, Fixeighted, you all seem to have problems with this rendering but did not express what those were. I am always keen to improve so if you have time please elaborate. <<

Hey Open_Range. I never said your image was bad. The thing that caught my eye the most perhaps was the rustic wood walls. The texture seems to to be a little too large, has a green tint and the walls on the garage don't seem to be receiving the shadows in the same manner as the lighter truss beams. Now that I've seen the material references you were asked to use, I think it's more the colour pallet and Architectural style I've got issues with, rather than your render. So I take back what I said. You mentioned that the client was happy with it, and really that's all that matters.

Bruce Hart. Thank you for following up! I did not think you said it was bad, you said it had issues and I really appreciate your elaborating on that. Very helpful to me!

The garage element is at an angle/skewed to to the rest of the house and I think that is why the light/shadow is different.

The architect showed the rendering to his clients and I will be doing some revisions, esp to materials. I will post an update after I get the direction.

Thanks again for taking the time to follow up Bruce, really appreciated!

DanSHP - Thanks for all that. I am doing some revisions and will try to address some of what you indicate. We have not had a day without clouds avermthe mountains in two months. May have got a better shot today. With all the cloud shadows on the mountains, there has to be some clouds in the sky .

Fine tuning the vegetation is the biggest most frustrating time sink of all of this. Still, I am try g to make it better.

i like the brighter exposure but maybe not quite as bright. Overall your example is a great help and thanks very much for taking the time to do that!

Bobby, I always appreciate and benefit from your comments.

I will, say….One time glass is not black at mid day is when you see thru windows, thru the house and other windows are visible on the other side. That’s what is happening with this. Open floor plan with big view windows on the side of the house facing the mountains. The lower windows are black because there are smaller rooms down there without windows on the other side of the rooms. The glass by the entry is reflecting the drive.

                                Thanks!
