    Hi,

It is been a loooong time since i posted anything on the forum so here it goes, this project is as good as finished, it was done in approx. 12 hours.
Trees and other green stuff is done in photoshop.

Irradiance map set to high settings on 2500 x 2500 pixels.
Final image rendered on 3500 x 3500 pixels.

The house is part of a large development area and they need to show it to potential buyers this weekend.

    Comments and critics always welcome.

    Erik

    it is looking very nice.
I would suggest some dispacement on the chimney and some soft shadow on the ground on the right hand side where the house meets the grass.

the ducks are a nice touch

      very nice eric.
Good composition, nice late afternoon lighting.
The glass is a little bit too reflective for my liking.

      Keep up the great work!

        Hehe,

I forgot to put the shadow back on the right side of the house, silly me, i just put the grass there in photoshop.
and forgot about the shadow. Displacement would have been nice indeed but there was no more time for that.

        Thanks for the comments.

Interesting house. I think a bit more attention to the materials would help. It depends on your machine spec and how long you have to render, but I think some subtle fall off soft reflections would help solidify the building more - its looking a little flat at the moment.

          Nice ducks!
          Kind Regards,

Actually there are reflections on the wood material, but the high bump settings have made them a bit too subtle i'm affraid.

Quack, i guess ducks are a nice touch .

p.s. look very closely at the high res version and you will see the reflections in the wood.
