The buildings look great the High Rise is very convincing, those palm trees though, unless they are supposed to be stylized really should go.

can you explain a bit your structure? is it a solid structure with the windows being textures or are there rooms behind those windows and the lit rooms are actually real lights inside a room

Making real rooms and lights behind would be tough and slow. Behind the windows we've put self illuminated maps. Glows are Post.

agreed that it is very nice - Palm trees are the weakest part of the image - very nice atmosphere - can you explain your lighting setup for this enviroment - Thanks

How did you do the glass of the balconys? It's very good. Did you put an hdri or what?

Hi, I think that this is looking great, nice job.

I think the composition could use a little work though. The low building at the end could perhaps use the 'glow' that we see on the tower on the left, maybe as though the sun setting behind it is passing through and over and around. At the moment I think that building is looking very flat.

                        hai,
it' s very nice. just few things i would like to ask.
the self illuminated maps is it max shader with opacity and self illumination? or vray shader.
how do u set the enviroment ? do u use any hdri?
any possible to share the setting?

                        thk.

                          Thanks for you comments

Self Illum maps are max shader. it can also be done with vray tho.

The enviroment only has one spotlight and one fill light the rest is the env color in the GI settings.

mike, I agree that the palms are the weak point

Glass in the balconies is a vryay mat with a bit of fog. the lit windows have self illuminated maps behind.

mcphelp. nice tip! had not thought of that.
