Hey Ko. Welcome to the forum.

You did a very good job. Lighting is just about right and some good details such as the carpet, that slight reflection on the wallpaper, and the diffuse around the downlights. You've even seem to have mastered the light leak problem most of us experience.

    My only crits are:

    1) lamp shade too clear.
    2) fish tank can use some air/bubbles (other than that it is great )
    3) plants near window are too bright green.
    4) horse image looks scaled wrong.

Beautiful images - shame about the designs
      My only comments:
      1) plant pot in first image looks slightly odd
      2) carpet, although nice and soft looking, could be a bit too deep/large pile. How did you do it BTW? Is it vray displaced?
      Kind Regards,

        Wow!

That's it, I quit. I'm going back to programming for a living...

No criticisms from me, Chris, I think they're awesome. The net curtains look great - is that simple transparency?

You're obviously pleased with these since you posted them, and I think you should be. Well done indeed.

Your first post? I really am quitting...

tricky- it´s vray displacement and a map.but i think the map doesn´t matter, it´s the vray displacement which is importent. i blured it a little bit in ph.

georgep- the curtains are just transparency with falloff. thanks for your words. i hope you won´t quit, that was not my intent.
nearby the curtain-mesh are from these forum, i stole it

The brightness and amount of light is very nice, you should however render these with higher GI settings, it's a bit too blurry.

Nice images! I agree with the other comments given.

That carpet reminds me of the early 70's, when shag carpeting was all the rage.

Glad you mentioned that... now I can do this:

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! I guess it is true.. there are two things money can't buy: Love and Taste.

Your renders look good, and I have no other comment besides what has already been said. You may want to bevel some of your corners, like around that fish tank.

I'd go in and change those lampshades. Either its they're dimensions, or its camera distortion, but they look too tall for their width, and the hole at the top is quite small.

great lighting/carpet and I like your fishtank!
Crits: I don't like your curtain too rigid IMO.
                        Welcome on the forum .

PS/joke: Have you count the insects in your carpet lol

                            Very very nice image.
Although i do agree with some of the comments above.... but the styling is nt thaaaaat bad

In the first image, how have you got your sun setup? I quite like the light that hitting the pillows looks very nice with the orange edges (or is that caused by the pillows)

Also I dont suppose you would be willing to share the carpet displacement map would you
